OUR EGG PRODUCTS DIVISION SUPPLIES THE FOOD SERVICE SECTOR, BAKERS AND FOOD MANUFACTURING. WE EVEN SELL OUR EGG POWDER DIRECT TO CONSUMERS.

In 1898 we began life as an egg production, packing and wholesale business. We evolved with the times and moved into to egg processing in the 1960s. We have developed our capability since then and now focus on added value egg products, including:

WHAT DO WE PRODUCE?

We are one of the largest manufacturers of liquid egg in 1litre gable top cartons and we can also supply in 10kg BIB and pallecons.

Our brand includes liquid and frozen whole egg, liquid yolk, liquid egg white and a liquid scrambled egg mix. We can create bespoke blends for bakers and food manufacturers.

Frozen and cooked omelettes are supplied for major quick service restaurants, hotel groups and food service industry throughout the UK. Framptons is the largest supplier of ready cooked frozen omelettes in the UK both plain or with a filling.

 

Omelettes

Our omelettes can be plain or filled with a filling in the mixed batch or placed in the fold of the omelette. They range in size from 4” to 7” and from 40g to 200g, although we have the capacity to produce different sizes.

Scrambled Eggs

Our liquid scrambled egg blended with egg, milk, salt and pepper is packed in gable top 1 litre cartons and we can pack this on 10kg BIB if required. This blend is quick and easy to cook in a microwave or pan and is perfect for hotels, the travel industry and ready made meals.

Egg Powder

New to 2020 is the launch of our powdered whole egg which is made from UK British Lion Quality Eggs. We supply this direct to consumers in 500g pouches as well as to bakers and food manufacturers in 1kg pouches or 25kg sacks.

Liquid Egg

All our egg products are made from British Lion Quality Eggs, offering peace of mind on quality, traceability and consistency. We work closely with our egg producers to be able to offer colony, cage free and free range eggs to our customers. Our range includes liquid or frozen whole egg, liquid yolk and liquid egg white. We can pack these products in gable top 1 litre carton, 10kg Bag in Box, pergals and pallecons for larger quantities. Our expertise on bakers and food manufacturers means we can create bespoke liquid egg blends suited to our customer’s recipes, eliminating complexity within their factories.

SCRAMBLED EGGS

A family run hotel serving 50 breakfasts each day was making scrambled egg from fresh eggs. Whilst making scrambled egg is not a difficult task, it does require a significant volume of eggs which take up space, and there is a labour cost involved in breaking the eggs and disposing of the shells. As well as the need for a clear and clean area to blend the egg, milk and seasoning.

Framptons 1 kg gable top carton of scrambled egg sits conveniently in the fridge, is easily poured through its re-sealable cap and produces a first class, tasty and consistent scrambled egg. Through the addition of a touch of citric acid, it retains its colour and the small amount of xanthan gum ensures that it remains stable under heat lamps rather than separating as happens with `home-made’ scrambled egg.

It offers a space and cost saving option for the busy kitchen.
