We are experts in liquid food, beverage processing and egg blends for the manufacturing, bakery and foodservice industry and ready-cooked omelettes and scrambled egg for the catering, leisure, hospitality and foodservice sectors.
We offer a range of pack formats from cartons to bag-in-box to bottles.
In support of our manufacturing we have an on-site laboratory offering full physical and microbiological testing and total shelf life proving.
Linked to this is our New Product Development service, where we work with potential, new and existing customers on recipe modifications and new concepts.
RAW MATERIALS & STORAGE
We handle liquid raw materials including anything from drums to road tankers.
Chilled storage is available, and ambient ingredients can be received into our warehouse for up to 4 weeks prior to manufacture.
We have exceptional mixing and blending capability including high shear/hot mix/full emulsification and can blend prior to heat treatment. Our Premix facility contains six enclosed chilled mixing tanks, each with two-speed mixers.
Powdered ingredients can be added either via a sieve directly into the tanks or via an in-line sheer blender. Heat treatment is by either plate or tubular pasteuriser.
We have an on-site laboratory offering full physical and microbiological testing and total shelf-life proving. From problem resolution to positive release, our technical team have an enviable high reputation in the trade.
We are extremely flexible and offer a huge range of packing options across chilled, ambient and ESL; cartons, bottles and bag-in-box formats.
We offer a variety of packaging options such as wrap around corrugated cardboard with a machine glued seam, or tray and shrink.
We use automated palletising on many of our lines.
Coding and labelling is controlled via our main recipe database, as is outer case and pallet labelling.
We use barcode software (including 2D) linked with preferred hauliers to enable us to transmit trailer-loading details electronically.
Our facilities are approved by many food manufacturing and foodservice companies and we hold BRC accreditation.
